ELYOR: my first book (synopsis and where to get it)

ELYOR is the first book in the Wandering Spheres series: romantasy, fantasy academy, slow burn, and a heroine answered by all four ancestral stones. Here is what it is about and where to find it.

ELYOR: my first book (synopsis and where to get it)

Some books you write, and some books write you. ELYOR was the second kind.

Silhouette before an aurora portal
Silhouette before an aurora portal

It is my first published novel and the first book in the Wandering Spheres series: a romantasy story with a fantasy academy, politics, bonds built slowly, and a world — Aevum — that had been growing in my notebooks for years before it had a name.

Synopsis

At nineteen, Aura Thornveil receives an invitation to enter the Nexum Primiael, the academy where the young people of Aevum discover their place in the world and the true reach of their gifts.

During the Vaerith, the ceremony that assigns each student to one of the four houses of the Nexum, something impossible happens: all four ancestral stones respond to her presence. No one remembers anything like it ever happening before.

As Aura tries to understand the origin of this anomaly, she becomes entangled in a web of secrets connecting her past to ancient events the world has chosen to forget. New allies and rivals begin to shape her life, especially Eridan Valtheris, heir of Primain and natural leader of House Vaern.

But the Nexum is far more than an academy. Beneath its walls lie buried truths, political tensions between the territories of Aevum, and forces capable of altering the balance of the world.

Because in Aevum, some stories never disappear. They only wait for the right moment to be remembered.

What you will find inside

  • Slow-burn romantasy: the tension is built scene by scene, no shortcuts.
  • Fantasy academy: houses, ceremonies, rivalries and lessons that are never only academic.
  • Found family: the bonds Aura chooses weigh as much as the ones she inherits.
  • Political fantasy: the territories of Aevum have their own agendas, and it shows.

Where to get it

And if you want to play before you begin: on the book page you can discover your house in the Vaerith and your gift in the Primia.

What excites me most

That someone closes the book and keeps thinking about Aevum the next day. That they argue about their house. That they get angry at a character. Writing is throwing a world into the air and hoping it lands on someone.

If you read it, tell me. I read every single review.
